Project Overview

The Proposed Industrial Park is a 192-Hectare Industrial Park located in Rivers State, Nigeria and is set to be an iconic development for the region. It is strategically located in the beautiful Obuzor K’Ogba land, just one kilometer from Okansu community, one of the most serene and peace-loving communities in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local. The Industrial park is an intervention to overcome business infrastructure constraints and barriers to firm entry into the markets, generate high productivity, stimulate innovation, promote investment and foster social inclusion and environmental protection. The 192 hectares are divided into 5 zones. In the zoning layout, Area 1- Heavy industries; Area 2 are plots for Administrative offices; Area 3 is an agro zone comprising instrument tech centre, Area 4 is for Light industries and SMEs. Area 5 is for Recreation, hospital, hotels, event, residential, training & entertainment centers.

What we did

EPCM is responsible for the infrastructure cost management of this iconic development. The first phase of the project entails the facilitating works, retraining the river ways, erosion control, roads and pavings, retaining walls, Bulk earthworks, stormwater reticulation; bridges, Street lighting, sleeves and initial electrical infrastructure; Gas piping, metering and connections etc.

The Results

The infrastructure design and the facilitating works are ongoing.
