The Aramex Warehouse is a new facility located at the NAHCO cargo yard at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos. The warehouse covers a ground floor area of about 2500m2, with an additional 1000m2 as a mezzanine floor. It serves as a hub for Aramex’s freighting and logistic operations, providing inbound, outbound, staging, and storage areas, along with administrative offices on the mezzanine floor. The project was executed using the design and build form of contract.
What we did
EPCM acted as the Client Representative and Cost Advisor throughout the project. This involved overseeing the design and build process, providing expertise in cost management, and ensuring that the project aligns with the client’s objectives. Our role was crucial in coordinating between stakeholders to guarantee a successful execution.
The Results
The completion of the Aramex Warehouse at NAHCO marked the establishment of a state-of-the-art facility catering to the freighting and logistic needs of Aramex. EPCM’s role as the Client Representative and Cost Advisor contributed to the efficient execution of the project, ensuring it met industry standards and providing a functional space for Aramex’s operations.
